Steel nails for Ghana construction and distribution

Select the product group first, then define length, diameter or gauge, head, shank, point, finish, quantity and packing. Factory availability is confirmed from the complete RFQ.

Timber & general building

Common Wire Nails

Ghana retail pages use inch-based descriptions for both small and long common nails. Send the actual length, wire diameter, head and finish instead of relying on the trade name alone.

Roofing Nails

Local roofing specialists show electro-galvanized roofing nails specified by inch length, gauge and pieces per bulk pack. Confirm roof material, head or washer and corrosion requirement.

Masonry fastening

Concrete Nails

For concrete, brick or masonry-related fastening. Ghana listings include individual retail units and counted plastic boxes, so clarify whether the order is bulk, counted or tool-specific.

Formwork & timber

Black Steel Nails

Black-finish options for suitable indoor, temporary or timber work. The buyer should approve exposure and storage conditions before choosing an uncoated surface.

Lost Head Nails

Small-head nails for joinery, furniture and finishing work where a less visible fixing is required. Critical dimensions should be confirmed from a drawing or approved sample.

Use Ghana listings as a buying reference—not a factory default

The references below describe formats visible on Ghana supplier pages. Send your own specification, sample or purchase sheet so we can confirm feasibility and quote like for like.

Build the pack for resale, handling and tropical storage

Ghana pages show both count-based and weight-based nail packs. Before quotation, define the net content, inner unit, master carton, moisture protection, pallet, importer label and private-brand artwork.

Wholesale box or bag

For importers and building-material stockists selling by weight.

Counted retail pack

Plastic or paper inner units consolidated in a strong export carton.

OEM private label

Buyer-approved logo, colors, product data, barcode and importer information.

Export protection

Carton strength, straps, pallet wrap and container plan reviewed together.

Finish selection / 05

Confirm exposure before selecting polished, black or galvanized nails

Coastal Tema and Accra, inland warehouses and mining or construction locations do not create the same exposure. Select the finish from the application, storage period and buyer-approved corrosion requirement.

  • Roofing/outdoor: confirm coating type, coating target, washer or cap and expected exposure.
  • Indoor/general: polished or black finishes may suit some applications when the buyer accepts the conditions.
  • Warehouse/storage: review inner protection, carton construction, pallet wrap and ventilation.

Ghana import checkpoint / 06

Confirm EasyPASS, standards and ICUMS steps before loading

Ghana Standards Authority operates import inspection and the EasyPASS pre-export conformity route for covered goods. Ghana Revenue Authority uses ICUMS for customs declarations. The importer or clearing agent should confirm the nail HS code, applicable Ghana standard, conformity route and documents before shipment.

Importer and clearing-agent checklist

  1. 1. Classification: verify the current HS code, precise nail description and applicable standard.
  2. 2. Conformity: confirm whether EasyPASS/PVOC, inspection, testing or a Certificate of Conformity applies to this product and shipment.
  3. 3. Customs: ask the licensed clearing agent to confirm ICUMS declaration, valuation, permits, invoice, packing list, bill of lading and origin documents.
  4. 4. Marking: approve product, carton, importer and compliance information before printing.
  5. 5. Current notices: recheck Ghana Standards and shipping notices before the cargo is loaded; procedures may change.

Dingzhou Best can provide agreed commercial documents, samples, packing details and production records. The Ghanaian importer or its authorized agent remains responsible for classification, permits, certificates, duties and clearance. This page is a sourcing guide, not legal or customs advice.

FOB planning for Tema and Ghana project routes

Nail cargo is weight-dense. We review carton weight, pallet use, mixed sizes and container payload before recommending FCL or LCL. Tema is Ghana’s largest port and the main planning reference for general imports; Takoradi can be discussed when the buyer’s project or forwarder requires that route.

Frequently asked questions

Which nails can you supply for Ghana?

Our range includes common wire nails, roofing nails, concrete nails, black steel nails, lost head nails and coil or pallet nails. Availability is confirmed from the complete specification.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The normal MOQ is 5 tons or 200 cartons. Trial orders are supported when the product, size mix and packing are practical for production.

Can I receive samples before ordering?

Yes. Samples can be supplied for quality evaluation. A basic sample fee is normally charged, and its return can be discussed when a formal order is placed.

Can you make private-label packs for Ghanaian distributors?

Yes. OEM/ODM can cover the product specification, inner pack, master carton, brand logo and approved label artwork.

Do you supply 1¼-inch, 11-gauge roofing nails?

This is a visible Ghana market reference, but length and gauge alone are not enough for production. Send head, washer, shank, coating, quantity and packing so the factory can confirm the exact product.

Can the order ship by FCL or LCL to Tema?

Yes. Both FCL and LCL sea shipment are supported. The final plan should consider cargo weight, carton dimensions, pallet use and the buyer’s forwarder route.

Does every nail shipment require EasyPASS?

Do not assume one rule applies to every nail. The Ghanaian importer or agent should confirm the HS code, covered-goods status, applicable standard and current conformity route with GSA before loading.

What do you need for an accurate FOB quote?

Send the product, dimensions, material or finish, quantity, packing method, OEM artwork needs and loading schedule. A sample or drawing is recommended when any feature is critical.
