OEM & ODM Steel Nail Manufacturing Services
For importers, distributors and hardware brands that need construction nails made to a confirmed specification, physical sample, target application or private-label packaging requirement.
Have a drawing or existing sample? Send it with your target quantity and packaging requirement for feasibility review.
You Do Not Need to Start From a Finished Drawing
The starting point determines how we review the project. Existing specifications can move directly into feasibility checking, while samples or application requirements need to be translated into a confirmable production specification.
You Have a Drawing
Send dimensions, material / performance requirement, finish and packaging details. We review whether the specification fits the available production route.
You Have a Physical Sample
A reference nail can be measured and compared for length, diameter, head, point, shank and finish before a production specification is confirmed.
You Have a Market Requirement
Tell us the nail type, target application, market, packing format and commercial requirement. Available options can then be reviewed before sampling.
Turn a Sample Into a Confirmable Specification
A custom order becomes manufacturable only after the important variables are clearly defined. The goal of the review stage is to remove ambiguity before tooling, sampling, price confirmation or bulk production.
What Can Be Customized on a Steel Nail Order?
Not every combination is suitable for every nail type. Final feasibility depends on product geometry, material, production method, finish, tooling and order volume.
Dimensions
Length, shank diameter and relevant head dimensions within the feasible production range.
Head & Point
Head form and point geometry according to product type, drawing or approved sample.
Shank Type
Smooth, ring, spiral or other feasible shank configuration depending on the product.
Surface Finish
Polished, black, galvanized or another available finish defined by the order requirement.
Performance Requirement
For hardened nail types, heat-treatment or hardness requirements can be reviewed when they form part of the specification.
Packaging & Private Label
Inner pack, carton, bucket, bag, pallet, logo and shipping mark according to feasible packaging quantities.
OEM or ODM: What Is the Difference for a Nail Project?
For construction nails, the practical difference is how much of the starting specification already comes from the buyer.
You Define the Product
Best when you already have a specification, drawing, approved sample or existing item that must be reproduced within confirmed manufacturing limits.
You Define the Requirement
Useful when you know the target application, market requirement or desired packaging but still need available product options translated into a confirmable specification.
From Requirement to Bulk Production
The key control point is sample and specification approval. Bulk production should not begin while important product or packaging details remain ambiguous.
Product type, dimensions, finish, application, quantity and packaging requirement are collected.
Production route, available dimensions, tooling, finish and packaging feasibility are reviewed.
A sample or final specification provides the reference for the production order.
Inner pack, artwork, carton marks and pallet requirement are confirmed before bulk packing.
Production follows the confirmed order specification and approved reference.
Product, packaging and shipment requirements are checked before order release.
Use the Approved Sample as a Production Reference
For a custom project, a sample is not just a sales item. It helps both buyer and factory confirm the physical result before bulk production when a sample approval step is required.
Private Label & Export Packaging
For wholesalers and hardware brands, the finished product is not complete until the packing format, artwork and shipping marks are also confirmed.
How Is an OEM Nail Order Inspected?
Dimensions, finish, performance requirements when applicable and packaging should be checked against the specification or sample approved for that order. Our dedicated Quality Control page explains the inspection structure in detail.
What Should You Send for an OEM / ODM Quote?
A custom quote is only meaningful when the factory knows what must be produced and how it must be packed.

OEM / ODM Steel Nail FAQ
Practical questions to resolve before a custom nail project is released for sampling or production.
A physical sample can be used as a starting reference. Important dimensions, shank, head, point, finish and other requirements still need to be confirmed before quotation and production.
Many dimensions and shank configurations can be customized within the production limits of the selected nail type. Send the requested dimensions or sample for feasibility review.
A reference finish can be reviewed, but the required finish and any measurable coating requirement should be clearly defined in the order specification.
When sampling is required, approval provides a useful physical reference before bulk production. The exact sampling step depends on the complexity of the customization and the agreed order process.
Private-label packaging can be reviewed based on the packaging format, artwork, print method and order quantity. Artwork should be approved before bulk packaging.
Nail type, non-standard dimensions, tooling, finish, packaging and total order quantity can all affect the practical MOQ and production schedule. These should be confirmed after feasibility review.
Have a Drawing, Sample or Custom Nail Idea?
Send the product reference, dimensions, finish, target quantity, packaging requirement and destination. The first step is to confirm what is manufacturable and what must be clarified.
